I don’t know what it is about this week, but I woke up at 11am feeling so dead tired. Usually, I can wake up feeling refreshed from at least 8 hours of sleep, but this morning I felt so tired… and that was after probably 9-10 hours of sleep! How can that be? I think this weekend is going to be a lazy fest for me (how unusual-NOT) so I can prepare for a semi-busy week next week. I actually will have class next Friday for a seminar. I have to turn in projects, write papers, study and more study between now and the end of the semester. D’oh!
This afternoon after my classes ended, I went to visit with my professor of Audio Production. I talked to him about flying out to Los Angeles between now and graduation. I am going to do whatever it takes to shadow an engineer out there, sit in on a recording session when a composer conducts the orchestra, and see some post production work. We called an alumni that works in this field so something will probably happen in the next few weeks hopefully. I’m excited!! I want to get a feel for what I’d have to expect in that side of the industry in case I decide to work there. I’ve always had a little dream about working in the movie industry with the music!
I watched High Fidelity tonight and I enjoyed the movie! Go rent it sometime.
